Who is this guy?
Jim Dick — or Jimmie Dickie the Science Hippie if you're in the know — is the kind of person who can name every tree in the forest, throw a frisbee with Olympic level skill, make bread that's heavenly, and a wood-fired pizza infused with pure joy.
He teaches science in a way that makes kids actually love it — animated, hilarious, and genuinely curious about everything. He loves Jesus. He's a devoted husband, a wonderful father, and a friend who makes you feel like the most interesting person in the room.
Jim was recently diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's. He's handling it the way he handles everything: with faith, humor, and a whole lot of grace. Jimmie Dickie trusts in the Lord.
Loves Jesus deeply and lives it out every day — at home, in the classroom, in the forest.
Can identify almost anything living in the forest. The woods are basically his second living room.
Animated, entertaining, and genuinely contagious. Kids light up when he teaches.
Will absolutely beat you with a pie pan. Don't test him.
Wood-fired pizza. Homemade bread. If Jim feeds you, you are loved.
He swims in them. They're part of him.

Jim's son designed a shirt that his church, homeschool co-op, and community have rallied around. Now we're bringing it online — every shirt sold goes toward Jim's Alzheimer's treatment.
